Je suis de retour, après un long moment d’absence. Mais pendant tout ce temps, j’ai travaillé beaucoup.

BD, Infographie, vraiment beaucoup de boulot. Mais là ça y est, les choses commencent à se préciser.

Le projet AKHERON est au point mort pour l’instant (Mea Maxima Culpa à mon pote P. Zytka). Mais j’ai bien l’intention de le ressusciter un jour prochain. Par contre, le projet CARNE ACIER avance plutôt bien. Et pour le prouver, je vous mets en illustr’ l’état d’avancement des choses.

La BD est un long parcours semé d’embûches, de doutes, d’envies de tout abandonner, mais aussi de joies, de petites auto-satisfaction et d’espoir. Et là, ben je suis plutôt dans le champs de l’espoir.

Enfin, l’avenir me donnera tort ou raison.

Du coup, je vais essayer de poster des news un peu plus souvent.

Been à while since the last time I was here. But you know,… lot of work to do.

My graphic novel projects, some freelance jobs… But it’s ok. Everything is beginning to make sense.

The AKHERON project is on stand by for now (Mea Maxima Culpa to my buddy P. Zytka). But one day, i assure you it will resurect. On the other hand, the CARNE ACIER project is doing quite well. And to prouve that to you, I give you some »Work-In-Progress ».

Comic-Book creation is a very long process full of obstacles and of doubts. But also full of joy, of little moments of self-confidence and of hope. And right now, I’m quite hopefull.

The future will tell if I’m right or wrong.

So, beginning now, I will post here more often. At least, I will try.

Petit à petit, j’avance sur le projet Akheron, voici quelques bouts de planches…

Step by step, the Akheron project is moving forward. Here is some part of the first boards…

Board 01

Enfin, ça y est, je commence les planches de mon projet BD, celui que je co-écrit avec Philippe Zytka : le projet AKHERON. C’est un projet de SF (Science Fiction) dont les personnages principaux sont Zakharee P. Fayjee, un convoyeur de cadavres et Olympia, une jeune fille. L’histoire commence par un flashback sur la jeunesse du personnage de Zakharee ou l’on croit comprendre qu’il a survécu à un crash. Voilà donc la planche 01 (qui deviendra peut-être la planche 02).

At last ! I’ve finally began to work on the board of my graphic novel project. The one I co-write with Philippe Zytka : The Akheron Project. It is a SF project. The main characters are Zakharee P. Fayjee who work as a dead bodies convoyer and Olympia, a young lady. The story began with a flashback that reveal Zakharee childhood. Apparently, he has survived a spaceship crash. So here it is, the board number 01 (might becoming board number 02…).

Voici donc posées ici même les bases de ce qui, je l’espère, deviendra l’univers Blackface. Du graphisme, de l’image, des réactions sur le monde qui nous entoure, des fanstasmes sur les mondes rêvés…

The sky was dark, without stars. The moon was nowhere to be seen. Watching this vaste (and maybe neverending) emptyness wag givin’ me some kind of vertigo. A lot of questions comes to your mind. So I told myself « why wouldn’t I…? ».

Ergo, here is the first dtep of what i’d really like to become the Blackface Universe. Graphism, pictures, opinions about the surrounding world, dreams…
